Photographing the newly renovated Warren James Hairdressing Salon was an exciting project. Nestled in the beautiful village of Crowmarsh, just outside Wallingford, this unique salon, housed in a converted chicken coop, has recently undergone an impressive transformation. I had the pleasure of capturing its fresh new look, highlighting the elegant design, enhanced workspace, and vibrant atmosphere that make it such a special place.
From the moment I stepped inside, I wanted to showcase the salon’s stylish renovation. The additional workstations and retail area, in collaboration with Kevin Murphy, seamlessly blend modern touches with the salon’s original charm. I aimed to highlight the textures, the lighting, and the carefully chosen decor that create a warm and welcoming environment. The natural light flooding the space added a soft, inviting feel that perfectly complements the salon’s aesthetic.
The final images reflect the salon’s transformation, from the sleek new workstations to the stylish retail space. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to enhance both functionality and atmosphere, and I wanted to capture the essence of this refreshed interior through my photography.
